thank you so much for this. i love this poem. i have been consumed with the idea of peace this advent. i painted christmas cards for my loved ones that proclaimed "peace in you heart, peace in your home, peace on earth" and i really meant it. i pray it is so.

What an appropriate poem for this season after a year that began with Tsunami and has ended with record breaking hurricanes. Wars have not ceased. And in Bracebridge, the family of a boy who OD'd on crystal meth celebrated his life with an all nighter booze up at the local Legion.

Nevertheless. Tentatively. Then with a shout, we name and claim our Peace and know its Prince.
